Has anyone considered using a professional firm to help write a top-notch CV and personal statement for residency? And if so, how much did it cost and was it worth it? Thanks!

You don't write a CV for residency applications. You put all your information into ERAS, and ERAS automatically creates a CV for you. Please don't waste money paying anyone else to write a CV for you.

Thanks. But what about the Personal Statment? Worth the cash?

If you are looking for help with your personal statement, feel free to shoot me a private message.

Before coming to medical school I got a masters in creative writing and have been running an application essay editing business for about 8 years now, specializing in just medical school and residency application essays. I can garauntee I'm a lot cheaper than a lot of these "coaches" you find online - many of them are scammers, or not intimately familiar with the medical school processes anyway - and enjoy helping. I can help with any part of the process, from brainstorming, to outlining, to final editing.

I also come with references. If you have any general approach questions as well, I'm always willing to help with that for free 🙂
