Guys,

When writing your CV, what is the format you use? I have it as:

Experience - A list of all the jobs I've had.
Education
Certifications/Licenses
Awards/Honors
Research/Publications

In the Experience section, under each job, I write the different anesthetics/cases I've done, ie, high risk obstetrics, open hearts, regional blocks, etc. But it's essentially the same for all three jobs I've had. I figured it might be easier to create a Skills section and put all that in there. Anyone do this?

I'd appreciate any other advice on what to put in a CV.

Thanks for the feedback.

every academic institution has a specific format for CVs that they require. If you're not currently in academics, I would use the format of the last institution you trained at. usually can be found under CV for promotions, etc. Covers all the bases, and you can leave out categories or modify if some don't apply.
