If I helped with finding articles for a literature review for a book how exactly would I put this in my CV? Its research but not really like a research assistant or is it? I'm not an author obviously but i think my name goes in the front of the book where it says thanks to so and so for what its worth. 🙂

Thanks!

You should be able to call yourself a research assistant for this. Something like:

Research Assistant, Smith Lab (Dates)
Duties: literature review on (subject), anything else you did

...would be appropriate.

I was just wondering this as well, since some of what I do for a living involves research (but I'm not part of a formal research program).
