Why is someone being paid that much when a grad would do it for half

News flash .. New grads are still getting at least 5% more starting salary every year .. why would they do it for less ?

There are some new grads making a lot more than that figure above

I have no doubt there are some, but that does not represent MOST of the new grads.
Salaries are going down nationwide at the moment.

In my state, CVS new grads have been offered 1-2k less every year since 2009.

Not in my area either. And I live in a very cheap place to live in compared to most. I honestly don't believe the trend is that salaries are going down.....people probably have inaccurate information.
