Effective next month my base hours will increase from 84 to 92 hours biweekly. I want to know if my vacation hours, which have already been posted on my hr, will increase to reflect my new base.

The same thing happened to me last year. I went from FT floater at 60 hr to FT staff at 84 hr. My time off (3 weeks) went from 90 to 126. The change happened in May, yet I still got all 126. Don't know if its a bug or a feature. But that's what happened.

My base increased by just a few hours one yeae but it didn't change in myhr until July. I ended up getting the correct amount of vacation.

I think I won't see the change until July. This is what I found on my hr library :Retail Pharmacist Employees are eligible to receive vacation based on their standard base hours at the end of the preceding year. Retail Pharmacists' vacation accrual rate will be updated each July to reflect their current standard base hours. Any changes to the accrual rate will apply prospectively.

I would definitely ask HR directly. Call the HR line. Do it a couple of times and see if you get the same answer from two different people.

When they changed my base from 60 to 80 because I went from floater to staff, I didn't get more vacation til the new year. I had to contact hr and keep on my pic for months before they changed my base hours though.

What month did you base change?

March 2017 and I didn't get any added vacation til this year.
I would think you would have seen it onb July 2017. Now i have 126 hours (3 weeks) and my base will be 92 next month.. i ll lose 12 hours.. 3×46= 138-126
