Anyone applying to Case Western should know Case accepted 85 students last year instead of 70, the facility does not have enough operatories for all the students and there have already been issues based on these extra 15 students. Don't necessarily believe you will get your own operatory because all of the class of 2011 believed this and it seems that this won't be likely at the moment. The adminstration here has basically shrugged their shoulders saying "they are doing whatever they can to fix this situation" but it seems more like empty words than true promises. If you do interview you should address this fact, ask what they intend to do because yes it will affect the class of 2012 because that means even if they accept 70 of you all, you may not get your own space 3rd year because a 4th year needs your cubicle. Be thorough in your questions, ask how you know you will have your own space, what plans they have for renovating, adding chairs, clinic space, and desk space. I think a lot of you will find dental school is a business and they are trying to make money, like all things make sure you make the best decision you can. I am not saying Case is a bad school, but to say I am happy with things so far, would be a lie. good luck
