D in Biochemistry

My school will allow me to graduate even though I have a D in biochem, but should I retake it for optometry school?

Any input appreciated. Thanks.

My school offers metabolic biochemistry and structural biochemistry. I got a D in metabolic biochemistry, but should I retake metabolic biochemistry or start fresh with structural biochemistry?

If you retake the one you got a D in, you get to use the new grade in place of the bad grade when calculating your GPA to OD school. I would retake the metabolic if I were you.

i would plan on retaking... most OD schools will not accept a D in a required pre-req

Thanks for the advice rpames and cpw, but is that for most/all OD schools?

I know they do it at ICO. The websites of the schools will tell you.
