D.O. LOR question

Hi,

I have a question regarding D.O. lor requirement.

I heard that it's possible to update a LOR from a D.O. post interview. Is that true?

Are there D.O. schools (even those that absolutely require such letters) that offer interviews without having a LOR from a D.O.?

I sure hope so, because I don't have a DO letter and don't plan on having one. None of the schools I'm applying to require it (NYCOM, TUCOM NY, TUCOM CA, Western COM CA, UNECOM). There are plenty of people on these forums and a couple I know personally who got accepted without shadowing a DO much less having a DO letter. That being said, I'm sure having one helps.
