Hi guys, could anyone point me towards some D.O. friendly neurology residencies, and/or offer some insight as to how competitive they are? Thank you!!

Hi,
I'm also a DO candidate. I intend to apply exclusively to Allopathic programs. In doing so, I have found that most programs are open to DO candidates. You can verify this for yourself by going to "FREIDA" then search neurology residency programs and explore thier websites and particularly current residents. Many programs even explain that they welcome DO candidates in the FAQ regarding thier programs. There are probably a good handful that are less likely to give us a look, but it seems that most will, especially more so than IMG's, so I've been told.

Just curious, why are you not considering AOA accredited Neurology programs in favor of ACGME?
