I have been noticing lately that many high achieving MD applicants will receive scholarship offers with their acceptances. I also know that DO schools do not always value the MCAT etc as highly as MD's do.
Therefore, do DO schools offer tuition scholarships to their applicants in the same sort of manner that an MD school would, is it more based on a "merit" scale, or do they do it at all?
If they do the average numbers fall for those who have received them?
