D2 Externship Opportunities

Hello everyone,

I am a D2 and I am fortunate enough to be taking part in an externship currently. However, I am also interested in attending an externship at the end of my D2 year which is in May as I have a week off prior to the summer semester. Are there any OMFS programs that would be willing to allow a D2 to extern (specifically in the Midwest if possible)?

Thank you for your response! I wasn’t sure for case because they said on the website 3rd and 4th years. I only have a week off during this time, do you think that’s sufficient time or should I try to extern another time? I am interested in Case’s program so what do you think would be best?

We’ve had D1s extern before. Our externships are Monday-Friday. Don’t do more than one week at a time.
