Hi All!

Just had a quick question--I want to apply to medical school in the next few years, but for now, I'm pursuing my graduate studies. Just wondering, would either of these two tracks--Dartmouth MS vs Dartmouth MPH--lend itself better to students applying to medical school eventually, or are both pretty helpful in their own regard? Thanks!

C - none of the above.

See Midlife's response in your other thread;

I...I mean I think it's pretty clear from my post that I intend on going to Dartmouth. I sincerely appreciate the help that quite a few SDN members extend to others, but these sorts of replies-which serve ultimately to provide irrelevant responses (i.e., "C") than to respond appropriately to the posed question-don't truly provide the poster with helpful information. I appreciate your time, but my question asked specifically whether one specific track would behoove my potential desire to attend medical school, not whether Tufts would be a better choice over Dartmouth (which, as you perceptively pointed out, was the question in my previous post). Again, I genuinely appreciate the help and guidance that several members provide to others, but please, when replying to posts--and I mean all posts in general, not just mine--try to bear in mind that your primary goal should be to help and guide the poster-not to ridicule or antagonize he/she. Thank you, anyway, for your reply :zip:

Then it doesn't matter which path - MS or MPH.

Neither will help you meaningfully more than the other.

*edit - I re-read you post about antagonize/ridicule; gimme a break. I was adding my voice of support to Midlife as I do not believe I commented in that thread. But thanks for the lecture....*
