Overall the real thing seemed easier in every section but Bio and QR. For Bio I felt that it was hard because I hadn't studied info pertaining to about 7 or 8 questions. The kaplan review book was very helpful in every section but Bio because it seems that they don't cover all of the necessary info (or maybe it was because I had the 2013 version). That being said, I was consistently scoring 18-19 on kaplan, bootcamp and topscore bio sections so I still did better (maybe they graded the real thing more leniently or maybe I'm a good guesser). For QR, it does seem that they have implemented some new questions not covered by kaplan (statistics/probability stuff) and I was also so ready to be done that I didn't give the section much importance.

RC was ten times easier on the real thing than bootcamp and a bit easier if not similar to topscore. For those of you using bootcamp, I did not get one of those "the statement is correct but the reason is incorrect" type of questions. Getting a 26 means I probably got 2-3 wrong total and I am by no means a great reader. It was very fact based and they threw in a few authors tone questions here and there that were very doable. I used the mapping method here.

GC and OC were a bit easier than topscore and bootcamp, I consistently got 18-20 in these sections on practice exams. When I did practice exams I made the mistake of doing each science section separately and would always run low on time for GC. On the real thing I flew through bio because either you know the answer or have to guess, theres rarely calculation... this gave me lots of extra time to do calculations in GC and look closely at stereochem stuff in OC.

In regards to PAT, I thought it would be much harder from what people had said online. It was not. out of maybe 5-6 pat practice exams, I scored a 23 once on topscore (many people claim it is much easier than the real thing). I felt keyholes was very doable, angles were a but tricky but not horrible, cubes easy (they always have been for me), top front end similar to many practice exams. Hole punching was split half and half between some really easy folds and some trickier ones, but using the grid method on the scratch paper worked fine for me. pattern folding was hard because I have never been good at this section, really had to pee (too much coffee) and was running a bit low on time. My only suggestion here is to not get caught up on any single section and just keep going. If you are caught up, try to eliminate choices down to 2 projections and guess from there, it seemed to work well for me.

overall, very doable test... don't let it ruin your life

good, idk why but reading this just took off so much stress, thank you
