Ok so i just took the DAT for the first time today and here are my scores

GPA 3.95

PA 16
QR 15
RC 21
BIO 17
GenChem 16
Orgo 16
TS 16
AA 17

I know that I have to take the DAT again and will be signing up again. I only used Kaplan to study for the test. What is worth buying and studying? Is there any chance i could get in with these scores? I'm looking at UT mainly
Thanks

You have a very strong GPA
however, yes you may need to retake

kaplan alone is not sufficient to obtain a high score.
I recommend cliffs AP bio, your old textbooks, destroyer, and the princeton review hyperlearning textbooks which explain things alot more in detail then kaplan
(im currently using both)

also use topscore or achiever
and def Crack DAT PAT

goodluck

Yeah your scores are below average across the board with the exception of your reading comp and I think you having a high gpa makes the scores even a little more of a red flag. Kind of strange scores for your gpa.

Kaplan is def lacking in SO many areas. It is surprising that with such a high GPA you got average scores in the sciences.

Good luck on your retake. Search through the threads for some good sources to use to study. . . here are a few:

Topscore for practice tests.

DAT destroyer for Gen Chem and Orgo

Cliffs AP bio for bio

Crack PAT/Crack MATH for QR

and online journals for RC
