First, I must thank everyone in here for their help and motivation, i have mixed feelings about my grades, pat man....iS TOUGH i was really aiming for an ivy league, should i take it again? would stony, columbia, uppen consider me? please give me an honest list of schools that i should apply too, dont wanna spend money getting rejection letters.
here's the break down for anyone who's preparing for the test
BIO: like someone said it before, theres no short cut here, you gotta read the whole section on kaplan, and then PRACTICE AND PRACTICE lots of questions, they dont ask you for straight definitions, its kinda weird, i was hit with plants heavily and i thought the questions were very specific, not general, no endocrime question 😡 not too much ecology, know cellular respiration COLD, they had a few questions regarding intermidiate, not just how many ATP u get from ETC. This reminds me, KNOW PHOTOSYNTHESIS too, i was completely off guard for this, i guessed them all
Chem: kaplan is good, they seem to like solubility when they were making up my test, know how to setup equtions and solving simple problems, they did ask me to calculate a few things here and there
ORGO: just like everyone said, SN1,SN2, E2,E1, dont get too fancy here, they ask mostly first semester stuff, a few grinards here and there, acidity, o/p/m directors, activators deactivators
Reading: man, those passages were tough, english is not my first language. a big chunk were not word for word, topics: calcium as neurotransmiters, something with AGING, and microbio.
MATH: i thought i did good, dont know what went wrong, a lot of algebra and word problems(my favorites, no its not) cant say much here
PAT: that crap is harddddddddddd, so yeah 3 pts off what u were getting at kaplan, i didnt have much to practice on other than topscore
anyone who wishes to ask me anything specific, more than welcome, i got so much help from seniors members here, (some of them were nasty, lol)
