I just finished taking my second practice Achiever test, and I felt like the science questions asked on the second test were SO much harder than on the first test...

Anyone else feel the same?

On a side note, will the real DAT have cube counting problems where cubes are attached only by their diagonals?

Here are some PAT questions that I wanted to ask about.

First off, do you ever come across any of these types of questions on the actual DAT?

Next, how could you tell that the stick going across the top is long enough that it goes past the border that it's on making D the right answer instead of B?

And lastly, just when you think the PAT is so nit-picky with proportions and everything, it gives this type of problem. The answer guide says that B is the correct answer, but from the image given it looks like it is bent, so that B couldn't possibly be correct since everything is either perpendicular or parallel in the answer.

Sorry, just ranting and frustrated with Achiever PAT 🙁

Problem 1: It is a possibility that you could come across such a problem, but that would be one of the more challenging ones. Thankfully my DAT didn't have anything that complicated. I'd say mark an answer, flag it, and go back to it later.

Question 2: Try drawing an imaginary line from the tip of that lone protruding stick parallel along the big rectangular prism attached to the back of the circle. It will slightly stick out when you reach the circle.

Question 3: Try flipping the original image upside down. Also you'll notice that the fatter branch sticks out less than the others. Again, try drawing an imaginary line from the top of the triangle to the base. You'll see that the fat branch does not line up with the skinnier ones.

Also, does anyone know if the real DAT asks bio questions like this with this format? With giving 4 options, and the various combinations for the answer choices?

Cause if that's the case, I might be screwed for bio 🙁

Yes that is a fair question that could be on the DAT. Thankfully you can use the process of elimination to your advantage. I knew that (II) and (III) were right and (IV) was wrong for sure. Eliminate D and E. I wasn't sure if (I) was correct or not, but that's ok because the only answer choice that included both (II) and (III) was C.
