hey guys im taking the dat in 12 days (after prometric messed up) and i was thinkin i cna take a few more tests...in your guys' opinion which is better dat achiever or ace the dat???

How did prometric mess up you scheduled appointment? Please let me know as i'm scheduled for 15 July and i'm leaving the country on 17th so i have no space for any mess ups!

ok this is wat happened
it happened to like 8 people including me when we went to go take our test
apparently somewhere along the line they registered me as my first name as my last name and my last name as my first name.....since the names didnt match up they made me leave the test and not take it (they tried to make me pay again but i yelled and didnt have to pay) they made me reschedule it for the next closest day (2 weeks away) so it was a big hassle.....but anyways i suggest calling at least 3 business days before and making sure everythign is ok w/ your name
so for instance if your name is john smith and prometric has it as smith john you're screwed---this can all be avoided if you call...it was dumb of me not to but for everyone else a little heads up
i dont know if its a routine thign for prometric to mess up but everyone there that wanted to take any test usmle or gre or dat had all their names messed up and we were all turned away

i dont know if its a routine thign for prometric to mess up but everyone there that wanted to take any test usmle or gre or dat had all their names messed up and we were all turned away ---but someone was able to get through and they found out that his name was messed up in the middle of the test they let him finish the test but had to figure it out w/ the ada afterwards --for me it wasnt a big deal b/c i live in chicago and the ada headquarters is here so i just went there adn showed my id to verify my name and then they updated it w/ prometric....but anyways just call and make sure everythign is ok beofre you go to take the test
