I find that the DAT Achiever questions are a lot more difficult overall compared to Kaplan- in the way they are written as well as topics they ask. Is the DAT Achiever good preparation for the SNS (most people have said that it's good for the PAT)? The first test I took for DAT Achiever many weeks ago were discouraging, and yet the Kaplan test in the book seems easier to handle.

DAT Achiever will definitely be helpful for the SNS if it's prompted you to study more intensively and widely for the sciences. And if you end up getting the same set of tests the authored sat for in the real DAT, it will likely mean extra bonus for you since some of the tricky questions seen by him there have some how been incorporated into this software guide. 👍 👍

Thanks a lot, seoul. The questions were frustrating me before, but with bio I feel that there is just so much content that they can ask. Gen Chem and orgo isn't bad if you practice the different types of problems. I only took the first test for DAT Achiever and am going to finish the last 2 today and really try to learn the questions. I actually spoke to the author and he told me that his questions are designed to be harder so the real one doesnt seem as bad.

So you've used DAT Achiever too? Have you taken the DAT already?

Right, few of my friends and I used it as one of our intensive guides, and we all ended up with scores of 20++ with some in the strong teens for RCT as English has never been our first language. The Stock Share Passage in DAT Achiever RCT seems to be coming out more frequently in the real test lately. Just like the PAT, for as long as you've been prepared for the worse, test on the DAT can appeciably be well scored. I've heard of people feeling horrible about this finance passage on the big day when in the actual case it should turn out to be the stong area for those who've seen this stuff.

Success in a standardized test has got a strong formula related to hard work, right exposure, and bit of luck. Keep an open mind to it, and be courageous to face it no matter what problems come up for you. Post some questions, possibly from the software itself, if you've difficulty in undertanding certain stuffs that you're confused with. :luck:
