Hello all,
So I am taking my DAT next thursday, Oct. 15. I am looking for advice at what to do at this time. I studied ~3-4 hours a day for the first 3-4 weeks and ~6-7 hours a day for the past 4-5 weeks. I have read through Cliff's AP Bio and watched Chad's biology videos to reinforce the concepts, gone through Chad's GC and OC videos and taken all of the quizzes and memorized the reactions, along with DATBC and Chad's QR videos for QR/PAT. I also have worked with private chem and math tutors and gone over many practice test sections with them. I found Chad's videos to be most helpful of my preparation materials. I bought DAT Destroyer but found most of the problems to be extremely challenging and taking way too long. I am mostly worried about OC (long story short, I took OC 1 in the spring of 2014 at UCONN, got a B+, and OC 2 over the summer of 2014 at a university closer to home, professor was fired halfway through, new professor tried to start over and teach the whole course within 2 weeks, it didn't work out well). I am taking the DAT late because I had to finish up my BS degree over this past summer and didn't graduate from UCONN until August (I transferred schools and not all of my credits were accepted). At this point I feel confident with how much work I have put in but have found myself to not be scoring as well as I had planned on the DATBC practice tests. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I have worked extremely hard in preparation and can use any ideas I can get. Thank you!!!
