I have been studying for 2 months and am still completely lost. My test is in a month and I cannot postpone. I started in the end of April reading cliffs ap bio book and taking notes and watching chads chemistry and math videos. In the middle of May, I finished cliffs and was still not grasping it so I decided to try kbb for bio and started mikes videos for orgo. In the beginning of June, I started dat destroyer, completed it once, and then started bootcamp. Currently, my bootcamp scores are low and I am worried because I am aiming for a 20. Standardized tests are a huge weakness of mine and I have very bad test anxiety. My overall GPA is 3.98, I have over 2 years of dental assisting work experience, lots of volunteer and extracurricular activities, so it just comes down to the DAT. I have been studying really hard the last 2 months about 7 days a week and 10 hours a day, so seeing my low scores are discouraging. What do you suggest I do to improve my scores? My goal for July was to do destroyer again and keep reviewing bootcamp tests, but I don’t know how effective this is and if I will be ready for my test in the end of July.

Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!

Approximate Bootcamp Averages
Bio 16-19
Chm 16-19
Orgo 17-20
PAT 17-19
Reading 15-18
QR 16-18

I have always struggled with reading and find the best method for me to be search and destroy. I do not bother reading the article because I will not retain any of it by the time I get to the questions, so instead I just go straight to the questions and find the answers in the passage. Math I am naturally good at, except for story problems, which is majority of the DAT. PAT I practiced but I have been focusing more on sciences.

Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!
What is your science GPA? Are you still in school?

What is your science GPA? Are you still in school?
I finished 2 years of undergraduate studies (bio 1 and 2, chm 1 and 2, orgo 1 and 2, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology), am not taking any classes right now during the summer only studying for the DAT, and in the fall I'm taking physics and biochemistry. My science GPA with +/- is 3.97 and without +/- is 4.0. My main problem is time and always second guessing my answers, but when I review the question afterwards I understand it easily. Destroyer has helped a lot so far!

My test is in a month too and I would say just work through the Destroyer again and then try Bootcamp once more. For QR do you have Math destroyer? You should try working through that too. Don't lose hope!! You have a 3.98, that doesn't come easy. You know the material, just believe in yourself!!
Thank you!! I don't because I thought I didn't need it, so I have just been practicing with the 150 questions in DAT destroyer and bootcamp questions. Thanks again for the encouragement, good luck 🙂

Something seems to be off. With such a high GPA, you should have no problem scoring over 20s in your sciences, especially OC if you just finished it this past semester and receiving an A in the course. I don't know about that school, but it seems its science program is way too easy.
