DAT and application

I am rescheduled to take my DAT on July 7th. Should I check on my application that I am retaking? I plan on sending the app too AADSAS in 7-10 days.

yes. I am also retaking the DAT on the 7th. How is preparation going so far?

Preparation is alright, I score a measly 17 last time but I didnt have much time to prepare when i took it the first time. This time its going much better. I scored 18's on Acheiver (all 3; they are pretty tough though) and a 19 and 20 on Kaplan. This was without much review since my first DAT so Im hoping my scores are better once im better prepared. What about you? How are practice tests going?

but I am wondering whether I should retake it or not?

If I am taking it again, on one hand I am thinking about not mentioning in AADSAS since schools may not review my application until they receive my second DAT result (That means being bottom of the list for review). Also, I might do worse the second time around and I don't want the schools to see those results.

On the other hand, If I take it and do better I want the schools to know. But would they accept my DAT result if an official result is sent to them via ADEA or personally not through AADSAS?

I am very torn and don't know whether I should retake it or not?😕
