I am applying in June and I am trying to get a feel of what the average DAT and GPA of those accepted has been so far this cycle. I recognize that it is difficult to extrapolate data from this year and measure what next year will be like, but it is still helpful. Any insight?

So many factors are at play. In terms of DAT, I would say 20 or 21 is average. GPA is 3.4 or 3.5 average for most competitive schools. Every year practically becomes worse than the year before. Especially New York State dental schools, I wouldn't be surprised if the average DAT is a 22 or 23 next year.

Average for matriculants is 20 AA 3.56 ogpa and 3.48 sgpa.
