DAT and UIC??

Hey guys,

I just took my DAT today. Here are my scores.

PAT - 19
QR - 16 YIKES!!
RC - 20
Bio - 21
GC - 23
OC - 20
TS - 21
AA - 20

My number one choice for dental school is UIC. Do I stand a chance? I have a 3.4 GPA and decent extracurriculars. My QR was absolutely horrible and I know I can do better on the PAT. Should I retake the DAT? I know I can get at least a 22. I am not from Illinois so I dont have state preference since I am from Nebraska? Do I stand a chance?

While your scores are good, I don't think UIC offers many out of state seats. Maybe 6 or so. You can try your luck, but I don't want to get your hopes up. If you were in-state you would have a better shot.

All my opinion. Try anyway, you might get in.
