DAT/Apply in beg of November? Chances to get in

Hi, i plan to take DAT in beginning of November what would be my chances of getting into dental school at that time if i get 20's across the board and my sGPA is 3.4 and oGPA 3.5?

Then very low odds. By the time your DAT score is processed and sent to schools it will be late November.

Read up on rolling admissions. The later you apply the harder it is to get in

You could still apply, but it costs a lot to do so. Probably better off to wait til next year, unless you want to roll the dice

I checked that there are around 15 schools that their deadlines are around Jan and feb of next year. I am not sure what to do . I had a major family issues ;hence, I am thinking of applying late and not want to wait for next cycle. Still really confused and worried about it

Just the fact that your scores will be uploaded around mid-November will significantly reduce your chance, so don't expect too much from this cycle. How is the rest of your application? Your GPA seems to be around average, and by now adcoms probably seen 4 months worth of average applicants so unless you have an extraordinary application I would just apply next cycle for better chances. Ultimately your decision.

I am down in Virginia. I will be applying for Lecom, MarylanD, Howard Dc, Ostrow, Creighton and etc. Honestly just look up the deadlines, I am applying for theo nes that their deadlines are at Jan and Feb. What about you?

I'm in NY planning to apply to local schools only and deadlines are also till Jan/Feb. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
