I'm so relieved its finally done, I feel better about my scores.. I'm hoping to get off a waitlist, or at least have a better shot next cycle..

PAT 17-->20
Bio 18-->21
Orgo 20-->22
GChem 21-->22
QR 17---> 18 🙁
RC 20--->20
AA 19-->21
TS 19-21

3.5 gpa / 3.4 BCP

I used all the typical sources everyone recommends on the forum... Destroyer, Achiever, Champells, Cliffs Bio.. I used Kaplan GRE for some QR, but still didn't do so well... I also used Organic Oddessey, but think it would have been more worthwhile to use for Orgo classes as opposed to the 30 questions you get on the DAT...

why did your score go up so much especially bio, how did you prepare this time as opposed to first time. and same for the other sciences, like how come every score went up, what did you do differently was it more resources, if so which ones, or was it more time spent studying, also if you dont mind could you also share your topscore and achiever scores, especially the sciences. thanks a lot very much appreciated.

nice scores! you definitely proved those DAT statistics wrong when it comes to 2nd attempts

with Bio unfortuantely I think its just luck of what bunch of questions you get asked... I was expecting to do much better last time on Bio, but got killed with questions that were on topics I'd never come across in my studying. This time, I had at least background knowledge on most of the Qs.

I did take studying more seriously this time... I studied for two weeks straight, last time I studied all summer, but not consistently. I took orgo II after taking it the first time, so I had a strong background in that.

I did use all the same resources, nothing thats not mentioned all over these boards. I particulary like Exam Krackers MCAT books, which don't get mentioned AS often.

For Achiever scores:

AA 20/18/20
TS 19/18/18
OC 16/18/20
GC 19/17/18
Bio 21/19/17
PAT 18/18..didn't take 3rd
QR 22/18/20
RC 21/19/22

nice job!!!!
I wonder what mine is going to look like now.
Good luck!

Great job!👍

I admire people who have the patience to take the test more than once. I feel I could have ended up in a cheaper school had I retaken, since I surely would have done better. I was too lazy and impatient.😛

Good luck to you! Where have you been wait listed?

thanks!

I'm waitlisted at NYU and UMDNJ... On hold at Case... The waiting is torture, I would love to know whether I'll be in school next year or going trough the interview process all over again...

Hey Why Did You Take It Over Did You Appply The First Time With Those Grades And Not Get In. If So Where Did You Apply The First Time.

This cycle has been my first time applying... I was hoping that retaking and scoring higher would improve my chances of getting off a waitlist... and if not, I felt it was an aspect that could have been improved for reapplying next cycle if it comes down to that.

you can see what schools I applied to on my predents profile.
