I'd say Bio is my strongest subject thats covered on the DAT, so I want to use this to my advantage and try to score as high as possible here. I'm using Cliff's Edition 3 and Chad's Videos (for subjects like Photosynthesis/Respiration and Molecular genetics). Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can destroy the Bio Portion? Are there certain topics that are heavily discussed?

Check the links in my signature. They have everything you could possibly need! 🙂

I scored a 30 in bio, and the first link is my breakdown.

WOW very impressive. Congrats on your scores. Have you decided where you're going to school?

Thanks! 🙂

I've only just applied this year, so nope, I haven't decided... gotta get in somewhere first! 😀

my bio section is not hard at all. i would say read Cliffs AND Barons (Cliffs is stronger in Evolution, Ecology and Animal behaviors and taxonomy) and Barons are better for the rest. Then do destroyer (I know glimmer would disagree to this but destroyer helped me with some questions), qvault, bootcamp and really memorize all the info in those questions and you will be set. At least for my version of the test. I would say for bio, it is more important to keep review and knowing the materials then doing practice problems. I don't know how long you will be studying for your DAT, but i would only a practice set a day (40 questions), then review cuz most practice tests do is to pretty much ask you if you have memorized that info anyway (for example like: what does mitochondria do? If you continue review your materials everyday, then you would know exactly what a mitondria does). So practice problems only help you to get familiar with the type of questions being asked. And the rest of the time is better spent reviewing materials. Reviewing until you sick of reading about it and still reviewing some more 🙂. Good luck.

This is my second week studying, I take the test at the end of September. I'm on chapter 7 of Cliff's. I made flashcards yesterday on everything so I have something to review from. After making the flashcards I went through the quizzes at the end of Cliffs. I know its not as hard as the DAT but I got 100% on most of them... hope its not a false sense of confidence! I plan on doing Destroyer when I'm done reviewing (probably in the next 2-3 weeks).
Will Destroyer, Bootcamp, CDP and QVault be sufficient? Also which is better Qvault or TopScore?

Hey guys need some help, is it imp to read or memorize the solutions of DAT BIO destroyer? I think i remember someone saying the pull questions from the solutions?
Of just doing the questions is enough?
Please help !

I think I have seen you ask this same question copy/pasted in about 6 threads already ranging from current to old threads from 2013 lol why dont you just make your own thread instead of copy/pasting the same question 10 times
