I have DAT in 2 weeks. If I get DAT boot camp package, can I finish it in 2 weeks?
Do you mean just the tests or his entire study guide? You can certainly get through all of the tests.
However I assume you mean the whole study guide along with the destroyers, cliff's bio, and any other supplementary material you decide to get such as 2009 DAT test. If you haven't bought any of those books it is probably going to take a long time for them to all get delivered unless you can get your hands on some from a book store or friend. 2 weeks is definitely an uphill battle but it is doable. You just have to be very efficient with your time and work 12-14 hour days. I would say don't read the scientific articles because thats more of progression over the course of a summer. Your time is going to be valuable so drop those. I would suggest getting chad's videos on course saver because along with his great GC and OC videos he has a condensed version of QR. This will give you a few tips on how to tackle QR. You'll still have a long way to go. The first 3-4 days should be spent watching all of the videos chad has for QR, OC, and GC (or Mike's videos on BC and Khan math). It is going to be a long and frustrating few days for you. Take notes the best way you can. I suggest note cards (that worked best for me) and you can easily review them as opposed to re reading paper notes. As for bio, having only two weeks is tough. Ferali's notes is probably best for cramming bio into 2 weeks as opposed to cliff's bio. Cliff's took me a whole month to really get all of the information straight in my head. Ferali's is condensed and I believe only 80ish pages, so doable yet there is a lot of information for you to gain in these two weeks. Once again make good notes. I would say getting all of those done the first week is crucial. For Math destroyer I suggest doing the first 4 tests, and downloading orgoman's new quantitative comparison questions that were recently uploaded in these forums. Once again be thorough and for any questions you feel iffy on you should understand that question and all of the ways they could ask it. For RC PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. I suggest trying three tests with three different strategies and then picking one and improving it to your best ability. For OC and GC you should get through all of destroyer...which i will warn you will be hell and you might pull out all of your hair doing all of that in the matter of about 4-5 days while doing your math destroyer tests and RC practice. This leaves you with 4ish days. Practicing full length tests will be critical for developing endurance and familiarizing yourself with the structure. So maybe 1 full length Bootcamp test, try 3 4 or 5 because those seemed harder than 1 and 2 (at least to me). Then do 2009 full length test as it is your best predictor. Your last 2 days would be left for reviewing all topics you have a sliver of doubt on. OH! i forgot PAT, 15 questions of each topic a day will get you where you need to be as long as you learn why you got wrong answers and familiarize yourself with patterns.
2 weeks is scary and you probably won't be getting much sleep. You are not going to have fun. Hard work isn't always fun but it is always worth it. I wish you the best of luck my friend and I hope I have provided some good advice.
Can't remember exactly but I know Mike's videos for Ochem were longer in total than Chad's were. Mike's seemed very detailed and DAT oriented, I watched a good amount. However I took the advice from a lot of others that people have been getting 30's in ochem for some time now and the "tried and true" way has been Chad's, so while I liked them I stepped back and did Chad's myself because of what people said and because I saw they were less time in total. I have however been using Mike's when I find gaps I'm unaware of and they are great. With all of that being said I'd recommend starting with Chad's, moving on to the destroyer/bootcamp subject tests and fill in the gaps with mike's where needed. Allowed me to only get Chad's for a month too instead of paying for longer. Good luckOne more thing, which one is faster to cover Mike vs chads videos for OC GC n QR
