Hey guys, just wondering what you guys got in your DAT Bootcamp test results vs your real ones. My grades aren't looking amazing on Bootcamp, averaging 18 oChem, 17 gChem, 16 Bio, 23 RC, 20 QR. Just looking to compare Bootcamp scores vs real scores.

I generally scored about 2 points higher for each section except QR, which stayed the same, but that was always my weakest subject so I wasn't surprised. I honestly expected my scores to improve on the real thing quite a bit more because I saw that occurring for a lot of other people, but I did see that some people only moved up 1 or 2 points like me. TBH I wouldn't expect too much change but it definitely is possible!

There's not much of a correlation based on my experience. But if you're scoring 17-18 then I would go back to figure out where you're struggling. Even on BC you should be at least scoring a 19 to feel comfortable going into the exam.

I scored about 1-2 points higher in each section on the real DAT. I'd say the Bootcamp questions were the most similar. I would also note that the average of the 2007/2009 (I think it was those) was the closest to my actual score.

I consistently scored ~20 on my chemistry sections, ~22 on my BIO sections, ~17 on QR, ~16 on PAT and ~20 on RC on bootcamp as I went through the BC exams I scored a little better on each one.

I found BIO to be much harder on the DAT and gen chem, orgo, QR and RC to be much easier on the DAT, while PAT was about the same. Consequently, my scores were 22 BIO/ 23 GC/ 24 OC/ 24RC/ 19 QR/ 20 PAT. Way better than any BC score I got.

I think the lesson to learn that that the DAT is a beast of an exam that has many variations and is extremely unpredictable.

Little late but since my experience was different I thought I would throw in my two cents for future readers...

Thanks man, you've had some solid growth. From what I've heard, just add 1-2 to your average.

I gave up on practice exams and studied a bit more. I'm now averaging 19~ orgo 20~ gchem and 19 bio using practice exams 6-7. Hopeful it goes up more!

For me I scored about the same for Bio, Chem, Ochem, and PAT, I scored about 3 lower on RC and 7 points higher QR on the real thing. I think you have a good plan focusing on review! I used Destroyer to review and reading all the solutions was I found most helpful to increase my practice exam scores. If you don't have destroyer you can do the same thing with practice problems on Bootcamp focus on every solution to questions you don't know.

Just keep at it you'll do fine. Depending on how much time you have left check out Chads "defeat the dat". It's an older website that Chad doesn't really update anymore but it's free and I found the OC/ GC to be very helpful. Also "Chadsprep" has good GC and OC DAT practice exams.

I know it's cliche but keep track of what you get wrong and go over your weak points often. I am not a fast learner so for me repetition was super important. I kept track of every problem I got wrong on all sections and reviewed them enough to memorize them. I definitely don't have the best scores on here but I feel that this advice is ubiquitous amongst students that do well on the DAT. Keep pushing on it will pay off!

I pretty much scored about as high as my highest grade on Bootcamp. Chem I got a 25 and the highest ever gotten on Bootcamp was 23. Bio I scored slightly lower, as I averaged a 23 and got a 21, showing how random this is. On PAT I averaged like 20, but got a 30 on the real thing, I think i just got a way easier test than Bootcamp.
