Alright guys, it is finally my turn to post a breakdown... Reading everyone else's breakdown helped me in the long run but the most important thing I can say is this: IT ISNT AS BAD AS YOU THINK IT IS GOING TO BE! Honestly it isn't. Anyways here goes:
PAT: 19
QR: 18
RC:20
BIO: 27
GC: 21
OCHEM: 18
TS: 21
AA: 21

Materials I used:
- Bio: cliffs ap bio is literally all you need. Kaplan is crap. Also used the DAT destroyer for practice problems, but the questions were NOTHING like destroyer.
- gen chem/ochem: chads and bootcamp. Chads videos are awesome. Never got around to the quizzes. I never really understood orgo so that really shows in my score. Also used destroyer for this section
- qr: math destroyer. I was expecting this section to be absolutely awful considering I studied for 2 days on math, so I am happy with the score I received.
- RC: never studied
- PAT: bootcamp. Though it is nice to have the 10 tests, I don't think I would have ever been ready for this section. I had a lot of weird cubes that bootcamp was not very representative of. TFE was easier on the actual DAT. angles were angles. And of course I had a few keyhole rocks. I used LOS for hole punching, which is almost full proof.

Bootcamp is very representative of the actual DAT, but a little more difficult I think. I studied about 5 weeks, 8-10 hours a day. Glad to be done. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Nice scores, they show character. We are all happy for you.

How much easier is the dat vs bootcamp?

If I'm getting between 17-20 on BC, what would I get on the dat,? In your opinion?

What content is there a Lot of on the test, what should we study more of?

Ex) mitosis vs meiosis, taxonomy vs ...

Is cubes harder or easier on bootcamp vs test?

Ok,

your bio scores are awesome ......

I can't wait until I post my dat breakdown!

Good luck on your application process.

Thank you. And I don't think
I had any for gen chem.. You know how you need to know melting point, distillation, crystallization, chromatography ect. Yeah I would know those.

No problem! I think chad did an awesome job at covering EVERYTHING you will need for chem/orgo

I think it was. I made an 18 and a 23 on the RC. So take my average and that is what I made on the real thing. Lol

Hey Great Scores!! I am taking my test in august and having trouble in Bio. I am using destroyer, bootcamp and qvault but my scores are 18-19. I have heard that its very random. Did you see random questions on you test or are there specific sections I should focus on more?

Use Cliffs Ap bio 3rd edition. I have had every class that was tested on except genetics. And the test was very genetics/physiology based for me. Know mitosis/meiosis/alternation of generations like the back of your hand. Also know genetics pretty well. I didn't even study taxa or plants which I'm glad, because it would have been a waste. I didn't feel the questions were tricky at all, but everyone is different.

Congrats! How did you tackle Cliffs AP Bio? Split into sections? I have roughly 3.5 weeks until my exam and bio is one of the sections I am really struggling with. Orgo is a complete mess for me too. Thoughts? Any input would be appreciated!

I read through it once. Went through it again and made notecards on each chapter (except for taxa and plants, I didn't bother to study that). Studied my note cards for about 3 days. If you have trouble with biology and recall of facts , I would start immediately as cliffs was about 150-200 pages long. And as you can see orgo isn't my strongest, but I used chads videos, youtube, and bootcamp. 🙂

I never got around to doing chads quizzes. I've heard that they are a really good thing to do though. And I think BC is very representative of the ochem and gen chem. If you averaged all of my practice scores, it's what I made on the actual DAT.
