Do I stand any chance of getting into Tufts, BU, NYU, VCU, nova, Florida, midwestern, A.T. Still, Houston, San antonio, or Baylor? I already submitted my application to TMDSAS for in-state texas schools but deciding if I should submit AADSAS application...

sGPA: 3.55
overall GPA: 3.6
these GPA's were calculated by TMDSAS

any advice would be APPRECIATED!!!!!

--------------------Detailed Breakdown ------------------
Study materials: Crack DAT PAT, CRACK DAT Reading, Topscore, CHAD's Videos Gen. Chem and Organic Chem., DATqVault Biology and Reading, and DAT destroyer/MATH Destroyer

Definitely get CRACK PAT especially the 10 exams to fully exercise your brain.

Bio: The biology section was pretty hard for me and I literally marked 15 out of 30 biology questions. I had application-based scenario type questions and wasn't prepared for it. I never studied anatomy or even took anatomy and I had a couple questions over it. It is important to go through DAT destroyer at least once. I printed out 5 practice PCAT exams for practice in biology. I learned all of my taxonomy from DAT destroyer and still wasn't prepared for the real DAT taxonomy. I had a couple taxonomy questions. DATQvault is good for biology practice, I would recommend it. I thought I would do worse than an 18 but glad it wasn't that low.

PAT-
The exam: Thanks to CRACK PAT I made a 21!!! Keyholes had a lot of proportions like TOPSCORE and CRACK PAT stress a lot on shapes. Its a good thing to practice keyholes from TOPSCORE since it had proportions. TFE section had a couple weird shapes where I had to guess but other than that it was similiar to CRACK. I visualized every shape before I used LINE COUNTING. Hole punching is way easier than CRACK PAT. Cube-Counting is easier than Crack because the real DAT doesn't give you invisible cubes to guess with. Pattern folding had a few proportions so about same difficulty as CRACK PAT.

I went through all 10 CRACK PAT exams about 3 times because I wanted to train my brain every single day. Its imperative to do PAT everyday.

I got worried about hearing the real DAT stressing a lot on proportions on keyholes and pattern folding so I practiced TOPSCORE PAT section more than once.

Gen Chem: I was worried about crazy math problems but I had really simple workout problems. Most were theory based questions. I relied on DAT destroyer and Chad's Videos/quizzes. Seriously his quizzes are number 1!!!!

Organic Chem: I used DAT destroyer and Chads quizzes. I tutor organic chemistry 1 and 2 at my school so I didn't need much practice. Very simple synthesis type questions. I didn't get lab technique questions, chair conformation, or sugars (mutarotation and etc.).

Math and Reading:
Math:
Exam: There is p-value, trig, solve equations, word problems, and etc.
I went through all 10 exams of math destroyer and I never finish on time. I think topscore is similiar to the real math section. IT IS IMPORTANT TO GO OVER MATH DESTROYER. I was discouraged every time I did Math destroyer but I forced myself to practice more and more. Remember to practice MATH EVERY SINGLE DAY (and PAT). I didn't start studying MATH destroyer until 3 weeks before the exam. I knew Math was hard because I saw many people make 18-19 but have 85% on that particular section. That tells me to not take MATH section lightly. I really don't like Math at all.

Reading:
I really hate reading and reading hates me and it obviously shows. I read really slow when I'm trying to understand a topic and its really hard for me to read fast and still remember it. I had a few tone questions and generalization type questions. I panicked during this section because some of the questions I couldn't find the answer to. I got really frustrated! I did average on topscore (20-21) and datqvault RC sections (>20) because the majority of the questions were SnD. I went through all 10 of Crack DAT Reading exams 2 months before my exam and thought it was a big mistake to do so. The only reading I did before the exam was all 3 topscore practice exams. I scored in a range of 17-21 on CRACK RC exams btw.

To me RC is about working fast because I took too long finding the answers to the questions. I wished I practiced more.

I hope you guys can understand my breakdown and hope it helps future DAT test takers.

I don't know if it would be completely worth retaking for that one QR section, but to my understanding, the 16 is below the baseline for some schools. Therefore, your application may not even be looked at. I would recommend applying with these scores, and planning on retaking in 3 months.

I would call the Texas schools and see what they have to say about the 16 in Reading. When you call Baylor, ask for Janet Pledger. She is very helpful and will give you some good advise.
