I finally have made an account on the SDN after reading these breakdowns from others in the past over and over again in order to gain some sort of confidence before taking this test I was studying for day after day...
My thoughts on the DAT: It isn't hard if you prepare and honestly try to go over the many concepts presented on the test. The problems is that everyone around you will tell you that you will be fine and your gonna do great, but if your anything like me, you just want to do it and see for yourself.

I was very pleased when my scores popped up on the screen after having to button mash the mouse through a survey about my DAT experience..
What I used...
PAT- Crack DAT PAT is the only source I used for this section. I picked this up quickly and was able to utilize the tricks and tips presented in the videos.. CDP teaches you how to be quick and move through the section..😀😀
QR- Math Destroyer.. I used this starting the week before my test. I was least worried about scoring low in this section until I read about QR nightmares. However, the real questions are not bad at all. Suggestion.. Learn how to estimate, use scientific notation, and work quickly. For this section, I felt that it was important to move quickly in order to at least see every question. Why? Because you could be sitting there stuck on a long word problem when the next problem (which is worth the exact same) simply ask you to evaluate the square root of a number that could be typed into the calculator (which worked fine by the way) 👍
BIo- Cliffs AP Biology.. Read, read, read.. and then pray.. Pray that the questions you see trigger something in your brain that you saw prior to test day. Also, the test writers dont expect you to know everything and there is no trick questions.. No answers like all of the above, none of the above, or a and b... Just straight up question and answer. Trust yourself and when you have time to go back over the science section, spend your time reviewing these answers first. This section is broad at best.. I mean lets be honest, it is labeled "Biology" which translates into "The study of Life"...
If I could recommend anything to study it would be cellular respiration and photosynthesis as well as animal form and function.. YouTube it.
GC and OC- If you do not go to ***********.com and purchase Chad's videos, you are subjecting yourself to a huge disadvantage. These videos are on point and affordable. I watched every single video at least twice and then followed up by finishing the DAT Destroyer two times.. Do not do this in reverse order! The questions in the Destroyer are harder and are designed to trick you... They will make you mad and make you feel like a finance major that bought the wrong book. This is in turn actually a good thing.. This book will teach you to slow down, read the question and examine the answer choices. The actual questions on the DAT are way easier and more comparable to Chads quizzes without asking about all the exceptions..
RC- Read the passage and answer the questions.
Tips..
1. Be Confident!! 👍👍👍
2. Read every question and give yourself a chance to review all the answer choices.. When I finished the science section I had 15 minutes to spare.. I must have been flying.. If I took the test again I might knock it down a notch but I was moving quickly because my adreneline was pumping..
3. Eat a good breakfast.. that was about as obvious as it gets.
4. COUNT CARBONS IN OCHEM... you can eliminate 2 answers sometimes by just counting carbons.
5. Learn how to evaluate expressions using dimensional analysis.. If you can find a way to get to the units desired in the answer choices you dont need to memorize every single equation in the back of your gen chem book you tossed in the closet 3 years ago.
6. Treat the sections like separate relationships.. You cant move on to a new relationship if you are still hung up on your last one.. Give each section a chance and dont carry your emotion over to the next section.
Those are just some things I can think about now.. If anyone post on here I will be more than happy to try and help and provide more tips to success.
