PAT 21 (92.2%)
QR 19 (84.9%)
RC 20 (72.4%)
BIO 19 (77.1%) 🙁
GC 21 (87.4%)
OC 22 (91.5%)
TS 21 (92.4%)
AA 20 (87.1%)

I was extremely nervous in the beginning. I thought I could have done better in BIO and GCHEM.
PAT: CDP 10 test version. Make sure you know the differences between CDP and real DAT. (ex: keyholes size vs shape)

BIO: Some random questions, but nothing too dificult. Requires thinking not just memorizing. I did not have time to review my questions. I used cliffs, Destroyer, kaplan flashcard, KBB.

GC: I skipped three questions in the section which i probably got wrong. It was pretty easy in my opinion. DESTROYER DESTROYER DESTROYER FOR THIS. Kapplan BB, kaplan flashcards.

OC: Same as GC

QR: kinda worried about this going into it. It was A LOT easier than CDM. I averaged 17 on CDM, and i got 19 on real thing 😀.

RC: required a lot of critical thinking in my opinion. I used S and D method in combination with sweet thinking 🙂.

Overall, I was extremely nervous in the science section. For some random reason, I read every bio question twice, and did not have time to review. I am very happy that I got consistent scores throughout the test.

Topscore1: AA 19
Topscore2: AA 20

p.s. I studied for 3 weeks (10 hrs per day), 1 week (3hrs per day). Feel free to ask any questions plz. I would have not done as well if it wasn't for SDN.

i agree with the above posters, there is no need for sad faces! solid scores congrats

I always heard destroyer was too hard for GC compared to the real thing. barron's is the one ive heard is the closest to the actual test

seriously? I've been told that CDM is good for timing on the exam, but it was much easier that the real exam. What would you say?

What's with the sad face by your AA? These are good, consistent scores that many people would be thrilled with! Nice job.

Congrat!! Time to go relax!!

Well, the only thing that I had trouble with in cdm was word problems. Word problems on the real DAT were much easier. Rest of the stuff is similar (but still easier in my opinion).

No doubt, questions are hard. However, there is a point to every question. If you can master destroyer chem, you will dominate the real DAT. I only managed to go through destroyer once. I thought it was very helpful.

Im happy with the scores, I am just mad that I didn't get to review the problems marked in gchem 🙁. I thought gchem was a lot easier than practice exams.

I think it is fatigue more than anything that gets to people during the qr section. I was feeling very fresh while taking it. Problems are really not difficult.

I felt the same way. I thought CDM was more difficult than the real thing as well. The questions were often more complicated or confusing on CDM than the real thing.

you said to know the differences between CDP and the real dat. aside from what you mentioned, are there any other differences?

You should compare the CDP to Ada sample test. The real DAT is similar to ada sample test, except it is a little bit more challenging. What I did was take the first 5 CDP tests. After that, I only focussed on the stuff that I had lowest scores on (keyholes, patternfolding, angles).

I was so happy when I started reading word problems that I could actually solve. It motivated me to push on.

Thank you everybody for the congrats. I really appreciate it. 😀

AMAZING SCORES! You killed/butchered/raped/completely destroyed it. You're definitely an inspiration to a lot of us SDNers.

Suggestion: I think you can officially change your status from "Pre-dental" to "Dental student" now. 😀

PARTAAAY!

Haha... I really apreciate it. Thanks for the support. I truly believe I owe my scores to SDN. I am always on it, so I can try and help others. I AM PARTYING EVERYDAY 😎

Congrats! Nice solid scores and consistency. As long as you have a strong GPA and applications already in you're guaranteed a couple of interviews. Anywhere in particular?

University at Buffalo is my first choice. I am applying for the next cycle though. My GPa is 3.6ish both science and overall. I also perform research on teeth.

Just got your pm and then looked at your post. Sorry for being repetitive.
