Hi, I studied straight for two weeks for the DAT and I got these scores.

Biology 26
Organic Chemistry 26
General Chemistry 21
Reading Comprehension 28
Quantitative Reasoning 15 😱
Pat 20
Total Science 24
Academic Average 23



I did really bad in quantitative reasoning, and I'm worried I can't apply to some schools. Do you know which schools I cannot apply to? It sucks because I already sent in my application before I took the DAT so I paid the application fee for most schools already...

Well with your EXCELLENT EXCELLENT scores in all the other sections, what are you worried about? Dont even worry, schools are not THAT strict about QR. Since you have already applied and turned in all the fees, just play the waiting game.

The OP is right, some schools will reject you if you have a low section. Doesn't Indiana do that? 18 in each section or something.

I think I have heard that they might make exceptions. So...who knows. Just apply everywhere you want. If they reject you then so be it.

I used to kaplan blue book and LITERALLY memorized EVERY word of it. That was my main source.
I then did some practice exams - kaplan, kaplan cd, barron's, barron's cd, ada, acheiver. I made sure I KNEW how to do every question in the exams.

Btw, I thought acheiver was a complete waste of money.....I freaked out and delayed the exam for a couple days more because I was scoring really low. The questions were pretty irrelevant to the exam in my opinion.

The day before my DAT I got these scores on acheiver,

Organic Chemistry 19
Biology 19
Pat 17
So yeah....
