Score Breakdown DAT
PAT: 21
QR: 22
RC: 30
Bio: 23
GC: 22
OC: 22
Total Science: 23
Total overall: 24

Background:
I graduated early with a 3.8 GPA. I was initially pre-med track and switched to dental. I spent around 2.5 months studying and prepping for the DAT.

Resources:
I only used booster and I think it is really all you need. I used resources in booster like Quizlet cards but no additional materials.

Schedule:
I spent around a month doing the content reviews for every subject. I didn't follow the schedule on DAT I made goals for each day and didn't really have an offical schedule. I wanted to spend time on areas that I was struggling with and not feel rushed to stay on a schedule. After I finished the content review I took a Full-length exam every Monday and then assessed my schedule for the week around those scores.

Practice exam scores vs Real DAT
I just wanted to include these because the first 3 I took really bummed me out that I didn't see much increase really felt like I wasn't making progress, but just a couple of weeks of practice exams really helped with the FL scores. My highest practice exam was also 3 points lower than my actual exam. I think overall the booster exams were harder overall than the actual exam.

Full-length practice exam 🙁AA:18) I took after I finished content reviews for each subject. This was a month and a half out from my DAT test date.

Full-length practice exam 2🙁AA:18) I was pretty bummed to not see an improvement in my scores and started to panic a bit here only a month and a few days from my test date. But don't let these initial scores make you panic I was improving a lot even though I didn't see a score increase

Full-length practice exam 3🙁AA:18) Again I was very upset this didn't increase this was 4 weeks till my exam.

Full Length exam 4: (AA:19)

Full Length exam 5 (AA:21) 2 weeks from the exam

Full Length exam 6 ( AA:20) this was actual 4 days from my DAT

Sections Breakdown:

Bio: DAT 23
(Practice Exams 18, 18, 19, 20)
I really just tried to know general concepts instead of knowing the exact details of concepts because it is going to take a long long time to try to learn everything. I recommend doing all of the extra questions and all the practice exams. Some of the questions were almost word for word from booster questions. I think very similar concepts are empathized in the questions on booster.

Chem: DAT 22
(Practice Exams 18, 18, 19, 20, 20)
The questions in this section are very representative of the actual DAT. I never liked chem but after starting through the extra prep questions and the practice exams. It is easier to see the concepts and calculations that would likely be asked on the DAT.

Reading Comp: 30
(Practice exams 20 20 19 19)
I didn't practice reading comp except in full-length exams and I found the questions on the actual DAT tended to be directly from the passage and easier than the Booster questions. The full-length exams helped with learning to manage my time through this section though because some of the passages are longer on the actual DAT.

PAT: 21
(Practice Exams 19 19 20 21)
I found the keyholes and TFE questions to be easier on the DAT but the patterns and angles were about the same difficulty. I actually think pattern folding was harder on the real DAT.

O Chem: 22
Practice exams (20, 20, 22, 19)
I think the O chem section was also very representative of the actual DAT. My practice exam scores were closer to my actual score in this section than the others. I had a fair number of reaction questions and mechanism questions.

OR: 22
(Practice 17, 17,18,16)
The actual DAT is so much easier than the booster QR. I did not feel rushed like on Booster and had time to answer every question
