I took the DAT about a month ago, but just haven't posted my scores on here. I used this site quite a bit with my studying so hopefully someone could find my breakdown helpful.

I highly suggest Alan's notes and Barron's AP Bio for Biology. Chad's and Destroyer are all you need for the Chemistry sections. Crack PAT for PAT was good, although I thought some areas of the PAT were harder than Crack. I used Math destroyer but should have studied it more in depth. For Reading, I wouldn't use search & destroy. It worked out well for the first passage, but half the questions on the 2nd passage were the statement is false, but reasoning is correct type of questions or whatever and that really messed me up. Good Luck to everyone who is taking the test soon. I hope this helps.

For sure. It was so relieving to be done. Although I hoped to do better than what I received, it just feels good to move onto the next process. Hopefully these scores will get me into the school I want.

Crack PAT is all I used for the PAT section with the exception of the three topscore tests I used. Crack PAT is the best way to practice for the actual test in my opinion.

Congratulations. How does it feel to be done?

It feels incredible compared to the lifestyle of cramming for the DAT while trying to simultaneously take classes and work. This quarter feels like nothing even though I am taking harder courses because I no longer have to study for the DAT.

I bet it is easier now. What did you use to keep yourself awake and to make sure you have enough energy to finish the work? That sounds like a lot.

"Brevity is the soul of wit" Well that is close to the shortest breakdown ever, but it sill covers all the important things in concise and clear terms!

Congrats on the fantastic score!

Way to go!
Feels great with a huge weight off your shoulders now eh?
👍

@ Dotoday - I was just really motivated to do really well. I didn't take anything but I would knock out a cup of coffee here or there.

Thank You everyone for the support. Good Luck to anyone who is taking the DAT soon!

Wow. You really deserve to be in Dental school then. I hope you will not pick up the habit of cramming though 🙂

I thought the QR section had a lot of word problems. Time was definitely a factor. If you can't set up an equation within 45 seconds to a minute, I suggest marking and moving on. Math destroyer was pretty similar.
