Finally done with DAT today, here's the score breakdown:
PAT: 17
QR: 14🙁
RC:18
Biology: 21
General Chemistry: 17
Organic Chemistry: 24
Total Average: 19

Do you guys think I need a retake? With my low math score probably so🙁🙁🙁

I applied this cycle, my g.p.a is 3.5

For the PAT section I used Kaplan and Crack PAT, my actual test was harder than Crack PAT because I always was in the range of 20 on my practice tests, the Kaplan was way easier than the actual test, the angles and hole punches there are not even comparable to the actual test except for the keyhole section, those were pretty similar to Kaplan. I did all 10 tests from the Crack PAT, but seems like it wasn't enough.
For the bio I studied AP bio, Kaplan review notes and DAT destroyer. The test contained mostly the information from Kaplan and Destoyer nothing from the AP. There were a few questions which I wasn't sure about so I just guessed. On my test there were actually 3 questions straight from DAT destroyer.
For the Gen chem and Ochem I used Chad's notes and DAT destroyer. While Chad was helpful for O'chem it seemed like nothing from his videos was on my gen chem section. I feel like it was very similar to the destroyer, I wish I studied the destroyer more.
For the RC section I only read passages from Kaplan's which are a good representation of the real exam. For the QR I didn't study a lot only went through some problems in DAT destroyer and Math destroyer but ended up just memorizing the problems which is not efficient way to study. Do you have any recommendations for the math section? Because in order to do destroyer you need to have a basic knowledge of mathematics and I am really really bad with it.

Have you applied this cycle?

If so, call the schools and ask them. They will tell you. If not, check on the cutoffs for the schools you are interested in. I took the DAT in June with score from 18-23 but a 16 reading so I am retaking. It also depends on your GPA, ECs, Recs, etc.

If you are going to retake, I suggest MATH destroyer. The DAT is pretty similar. It is essential to focus on timing and skipping difficult problems until them end. Also, Crack Dat PAT is pretty good.

Great job on OC and Bio. Don't let those subjects slide if you retake. Good luck!

You got some decent score in here. See what schools say when you apply this cycle. You canalways retake later. Good luck.
