Ok, so I took the DAT today. My calculator screwed me over literally in the QR section (it would not clear). Does anyone know who to contact to request a retake? Have you all ever heard of such a problem?

I just think it's ridiculous they don't let us use a calculator. I mean, when are we going to be faced with a situation in life that we can't use a calculator. I don't know who to contact. Or if anyone has ever been granted a retake.

Unless you had a witness I would have to assume that they would not allow a retake. If they did allow a retake, i'm sure there will be lots of people claiming the same.. Curious what you find out

How would I have a witness? I was so upset trying to get the calculator to act right I didn't know what to do. I probably missed at least 5-7 problems due to this alone.

You have to press C for it to clear. I had the exact same issue with mine when I took it on July 29. You have to make sure to press C and not CE.

--->rippinitez...i know...i had actually read where someone said you had to hit CE instead of C. So, when I punched CE first...I guess it would not go off of that function (whatever the heck it may be). Even when I punched C instead of CE, the calculator kept going crazy. I was sooooo upset, I know I probably won't get into dental school now thanks to this silly BS
