hey guys, how much do we need to know on classification? should we know specifics like what ascaris is, wat a trematode is, etc? where i stand, i know the basic phylums and the characteristics of each phylum, but i dont remember as in depth as the species and classes and stuff.

thanks for any input 👍 👍

Know all that is in the kaplan review book. Hence, you don't need to know the species. Just studying from prep books and you should do fine.

The problem is, they can throw incredibly crazy stuff at you, and it'd be okay. Word stem is important... but, normally, they are as simple as.. "Homo sapien" which part of the classification is the genus?

Knowing most of the important phylum should be enough. I doubt you would have to go into class/division like Psilophyta.
