Hello guys, this was a 13C NMR question, where it shows 4 "tall" peaks, 1 around 180- (carbonyl), and then 3 tall peaks around the alkane region (0-40), but it also has 1 very short peak right at 0. I thought that this was 5 total peaks, but the answer i guess only counted the tall peaks.. I don't exactly understand why, does anyone have an explanation??
the correct answer is 3methyl-butan-2-one, but i wanted to pick penta-2-one bc of that short peak at 0. Please respond!
