Hi guys. I have been using the 2012 version of destroyer and now Im freaking out since people say you should get the 2014 version. My test is a little over a month away. What should I do? I already have gone over 2012 like 3 times. help please 🙁

with real orgo section being only asking fundamental/foundational questions a lot, going from 2012 to 2014 version won't really make a huge difference, IMO.
I used an old version, had plenty of practice and covered every area that it needed to, I aced the orgo section with 27.

don't sweat it. destroyer is an overkill anyway, so if you went through it 3 times and know it solidly, you are good

The version you are using is a great book and definitely has value. We do update our materials to keep up with the latest DAT trends, we do not add more material for the hell of it and we do not start from scratch every year. With such a difficult test and competition getting increasingly more difficult to get into dental school plus the test will be $415 in January using the most up to date study materials makes sense. We only use the most up to date books in our classroom which is now 2015 materials.

Our materials are NOT overkill as someone posted, you MUST prepare for the DAT if you want high scores..It does not take as much effort to get an 18 compared to a 30, it's take a lot of hard work and dedication to pull off high scores. Remember there are many different versions of the DAT and you must prepare for whatever comes your way. Much better to be over prepared than under prepared come test day. The DAT Destroyer is VERY challenging but so is the DAT.
