I'm about to order the DAT destroyer and for planning purposes I was wondering how yall most effectively used the DAT destroyer. I've heard from many of you guys it's best to go through it all multiple times. Did yall time yourselves with each section? How many different sets of each section does it offer? How long did it take for yall to do your regimen? I've allotted about 4 weeks for just the Destroyer alone assuming I don't get behind. I may add achiever in there for the last week leading up to my test to help get acquainted with "test conditions". Also last question, is the Math Destroyer worth it?

Thanks again for all your help!

Just started DAT and MATH destroyer two days ago, and I feel like I should crawl in a hole and just give up lols.

Best of luck to us both!

I used it to gauge how much I knew in each of the sciences and math.
I went through as many questions as I could per section, like maybe 100 bio ?s at once, than I'd make a little notecard of any of the ones I missed and repeated the previous steps till I had notecards for each section (I didn't have enough time to finish the Ochem section or make note cards for all Chem sections, but this book certainly helped increase my score IMO).

I didn't time myself, and it took me about two weeks to go through the whole book (I wasn't using just Destroyer though so you will prob go through it way faster).

I didn't need Math Destroyer bc I have a pretty strong Math Background, but frmo what i hear, if you know how to do every problem in there with speed, you are bound to do well.
Good luck!

I felt that way with the both the chems in there hahaha
Lemme just say it wasn't good for my confidence since my test was coming up as I was doing the problems!

I felt the same way when I got both destroyers. Don't give up. When I first went through the destroyer I felt like I should just be a dental hygienist 😀 I wanted to cry. My advice go over the basics firsts. If you don't understand a question go over the answer and make sure you understand it. Don't time yourself the first time around. As you progress through the destroyer you will notice that you understand more and more. If you need basic help in chem or Orgo get chad's videos. Honestly the destroyer saved my ass. If you have any questions regarding the destroyer problems you can always post them here.

Best of luck

Thanks for the responses! I'm looking forward to getting to that stage in the my studying. Right now I'm just about to finish up reviewing my background and building up all the notes and stuff. I'll keep yall posted on how it goes in case yall are interested.

In my opinion, the best way is to go through a section and see what questions you got wrong. Then loom up and review those topics in your textbook(s). Do this for all the sections of the Destroyer. It is a great tool, but it cannot substitute for the fundamental knowledge. You must know the course materials to study that affectively. Hope this helps.
