Hi guys,

So I am about ready to start studying for the DAT's and I was wondering what your experience was with the DAT Destroyer QR portion and the Math Destroyer? I have been reading that many people have used both. I have both, but I just wanted to get your opinion on which might be better/ more like the test. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time out! This forum is awesome! 😀

Depends on how confident you are in your math skills. Everyone's different, but the majority prefer using Math Destroyer. I only had three weeks to study and did 10 tests out of the 14 in MD. If I had time I would've gone over both. The QR section is basically about efficiency-recognizing the type of problem, identifying what the question is asking for and knowing how to solve it as quickly and as accurately as possible. To do that you need to practice on your speed and expose yourself to a variety of problems found in both Destroyers til you're confident. Don't worry if you miss a lot of questions while studying, the main point is that you understand why you get the question wrong and learning the right approach for next time. Watch out for test number 11 and 12 in MD as they are pretty difficult. Good luck!

Math Destroyer has more questions that are similar to the actual exam. Also, it gives you more practice questions.
