DAT Destroyer question

Hi, I've been using DAT destroyer and have been really surprised at how much I don't know. After doing about a couple hundred problems, I've been getting between 65-75% every time. Am I just really behind on the sciences, or is the destroyer just really difficult? Thanks

From how I see it the majority of people it is difficult and intimidating the first time. Just review it and learn from the questions. The DAT destroyer for certain subjects were harder than they needed (QR section) where the rest were pretty reasonable in my opinion. I was pretty intimidated at first but you'll get over it with practice. The more you practice with harder materials, the easier the real test will be (that is if you're critically learning and not memorizing questions and answer verbatim). I started with the DAT bootcamp (online instead of book) because it made me feel a bit smarter haha

The Destroyer is indeed challenging, in fact I have students get angry with the Destroyer, on student said he even threw it on the floor and stomped on it. I told him to pick it back up because the book was meant to be challenging just like the DAT, it is better to discover what you do not know now, than on test day. Remember the Destroyer is a teaching book, you must know the concepts to succeed on the DAT. Keep going, never lose sight of the goal and the Destroyer will get you the scores you desire if you can master it. FYI, the student that was angry the Destroyer is now a dentist and in the end he loved the Destroyer
