DAT Destroyer Studying?

So I just got the Destroyer, and I was wondering if those that used it and were successful could give me some advice. I have a descent foundation with the material through classes and kaplan, and I'm ready to step it up. Is Destroyer as DAT directed and helpful as I've read on the forum. If so, what is the best way to study? Just go over the questions and answers over and over?

Please only respond if you have sincere and honest input. I already bought it, so you don't need to sell the product to me if there really are people out there fakin' the funk on this forum. There's no need to make the product sound good to me....I just need input on how to put it to work. Thanks guys! Wish me luck!

First of all, call Dr.Romano. He will help walk you through the book a little bit. Afterwards,start doing the questions section by section and make note of what topics/areas you are missing----you will review these in schaums/kaplan as you go on. Read through the Road Maps in the back of the Orgo section---I pretty much memorized them when I was going through Destroyer,although I only got it 2 weeks before my DAT so I was really limited with the time-factor. And you can always call Dr.Romano for any additional questions--him and Nancy are the absolute best. Good luck with studying-PM if you have specific questions. Additionally, search this forum for the "amsies dat destroyer review" thread----we posted ALOT of bio and orgo questions in there that may help you review.

My main resource was the Destroyer; one because i had the main material and concepts down. It is very challenging but it makes you prepared so that you have no doubts upon taking the test on test day. It covers every topic you will need and more that is covered on the DAT. I also took Kaplan and practiced Topscore, Barrons and Achiever but overall my main resource was the Destroyer because the explanations were thorough and covered the whole topic concerning each question. Good LUck and make sure you kow it inside out!!
