DAT destroyer vs. Kaplan

It's getting close !!!!

I got really nervous AGAIN lol !!because im going through destroyer for the first time (i know it's kinda late but had to finish kaplan BB first) and it seemed really hard for me. Organic was okay and bio was okay on destroyer but gen chem seemed more difficult than Kaplan BB.
well, for those of you who took the test already..

Which one is more close to the REAL DEAL??? kaplan BB? or destroyer??? (for gen chem, orgo)

Even though i finished kaplan bb and did fine on the practice exams,,,,,it's not so on destroyer......I'm now on #24 destroyer gen chem.. it's not fun at all !!!!!!

plz help me out!! should i be freaked out????????🙁

From my own experience last year and again this year................Destroyer is meant to "destroy" you and make you really understand your weak areas. Use it as a tool and you will do great on the test. I think that KBB is waaaaaayyyyy to easy and simplified which tis a good thing for a good base of knowledge. i do agree with the majority of SDNers that you should really use other resources to supplement any and all KBB information.

If you are doing well in Destroyer and are missing only 20% of the problems in one section then you are doing fine and will do well on the real deal. Don't freak. It is the worst thing that you can do.

Everyone says Kaplan is great for Chems. But if you want a 30 for those sections then you need to perfect your skills...hence Destroyer to get those last 3 questions right.
I haven't taken the test yet though.

i read destroyer like a bible and got 30 on gchem.
in my opinion destroyer is a much better practice. like the person above wrote, the destroyer puts light on your weakness by bombarding you with problems. quicker you figure out your weakness, better prepared you will be (if you spend time to learn it by heart).

kaplan is good in a way that it offers full length tests, but if you want to do better, you have to do more problems. and destroyer has a lot. if you have the kaplan online thingy, do those subject tests over. doing the same thing multiple times helped me out a lot too i.e. if you miss same problem multiple times, you know where your true weakness is.
