Hey everyone I am taking my DAT two months from now and was wondering if i should purchase the 2015 DAT Destroyer package for around $220 after shipping? Someone that I know is willing to sell me a 2013 edition package in pretty nice condition for $100. Which would you guys suggest? Thanks

The difference between those two editions might me only couple of questions. If money is not a problem then go for the 2015 one. Since there has been few changes to the Bio and Math sections. Remember that later on you can sell yours for the same amount of money so why not going with the newer version. I did the same thing last year, spent $220 and sold the books for $190 after I was done with my DAT.

There are added questions from 2013 to 2015, me personally I would say it is definitely worth it to get the 2015. Those questions could be the difference between a higher and lower DAT score.

Thanks guys I am going to go ahead and purchase the 2015 package soon.

Also a couple of other questions,

I have just about reached the end of the bulk of my review for gchem, ochem, bio and qr and was wondering what would be the best way of complementing working on destroyer questions over the next month or so? I review concepts a bit every day to keep them fresh so should I start working on destroyer questions and review/study concepts on the questions that I struggled with that same day? And the next day work on a new set of destroyer questions? And also complement this with PAT practice tests/questions over the next month or so? Should I also spare one day each week to just review concepts, those that I need to review on more so than others? Any advice will help since I am trying to work on this and classes at the same time because I want to apply this coming cycle. Thanks

Do as many PRACTICE tests as possible! Believe me as you are going through each question it is basically like you are reviewing each section as well. So if you are done with reviewing and you know your basics very well then its now time to get on practice tests. I worked on PAT 3 weeks before my actual test and it worked totally fine for me. I remember doing one PAT practice test every night! Good Luck.
