I just did it on paper for GChem and I didn't really make anything for OChem.
Quick question say for example you did questions and after checking them the ones you got wrong now do you do those questions again with looking over supplementary material like videos etc or a textbook or do you still try to solve it a second time without any resource?
so basically on the second time of working out a question you got wrong you still tried to solve it without help? I plan to have somebody grade the questions without putting the right answer. so i can work it out and try to get it right
The point of the DAT destroyer is to learn from the explanations and to understand the wrong answers also. Don't worry about how much you get wrong at first just use that as a way of learning

The latest update for the DAT changes were January 26th. I took my DAT in February 2016 and used the 2015 Destroyer and am happy with my scores. It covered everything I would have needed to know. Hope this helps!
Was the chemistry on the real DAT more straightforward and not as complex as the destroyer questions?
Yeah it was much more straightforward than Destroyer. Don't think of it as a way to assess how you're doing, but more as a study tool. Bootcamp is more the "style" of questions you'll see. GC was the only destroyer section I only went through once and turned out to be the only science I had below 25. So def go through it enough to where you really understand the concepts and questions that it goes over.
first go through it slowly and make notes. if you dont understand something in the answer get that concept down better by going to youtube or a textbook. never skip a question as being to hard or to easy make sure everything makes sense. with the bio its extremely important to know everything it says in the answers bec even a side note can end up on the test. i took a practice test in the begining and scored a 14 on the bio. i only used destroyer and i got a 23 on the dat.
No feralis? Or are you referring to just pure assessment material and not study materials? Though technically destroyer isn't an assessment lol

i only used destroyer and if i had trouble with the concept i used youtube. for the bio i found the ap cliffnotes to be super helpful if i didnt understand something. but don't use cliffnotes as a primary source. destroyer has everything for bio. just if you see some question on action potentials or something and you feel like you dont have the a strong foundation then read up about it in cliffnotes and then go back to destroyer for the more detailed facts you need to know.

no problem just know its possible bec i dont think anyone knew less bio than me. i never even learned about action potentials so i did it all from scratch using destroyer and cliffnotes.
