As far as study materials go:
Top Score was a waste for me
Achiever had one question that was basically word for word on the bio (they have WAY too many questions about Mold)

I bought DAT Destoyer last min (about 10 days before my test) I have to say, once I got the book, my scores went up right away. The Orgo section covers anything you'd ever need to know, same for the chem. For bio, enough is never enough-just read whatever you can get your hands on. Even the math from destroyer gave a great overview for questions.
The book is a must have....150$ and worth every penny.

I completely agree.. The book is worth every penny, but the help and support behind it really makes it worth more..

I am really thinking about ordering destroyer. I have topscore right now, but it seems like no one has really benefitted from it. I will either take the test next fri (oct 6th) or the following monday. My question is, is it too late? Would it still be worth it to go through all the practice exams? Immediate advice would be appreciated. I need to place the order ASAP if you think it needs to be done.

I think you should order it. I know people here that got the materials right away. I never bought it because I thought it was too late, I wish I would have done it, but people highly recommend it.

I just bought it. Hopefully this will overcome my impulse and heighten my score. I feel until the package comes, the TopScore practice tests will suffice. I ordered it at 9:30 Pacfic, so hopefull he could ship it today? I'm in the midwest, I really hope it doesn't take up to 5 business days!! 😱

Yeah they fedex it, mine got in my hands the next day after I ordered it... (although im in NY, so it wasnt that far of a shipment..)

nancy actually called me and told me i would get it tomorrow afternoon sometime. So what i thought was going to be a tuesday-start review will turn into a Friday start! i talked to her for a while and she was so nice and was telling me about all these pre-dent kids that update her with new scores, interviews, etc. to be honest it sounded like a mom talking about her kids! i'm going to get the majority, if not all of the topscore tests as review for the destroyer. i feel i have a pretty solid base taking the kaplan course and studying throughout the summer, but i now need to focus on the details and the essential material covered on the dat, which is exactly what the destroyer will do. better late than never. 11 days till the big day.....
