What is the DAT destroyer and what makes it better than say Kaplan for instance?
Is it really worth my $150?
Maybe someone in the New England area has a copy that they would like to sell....

In my opinion I think this book worth a lot. There is no other source of material which will prepare u so effective on the materials that u really need to know for the exam. This book is on the money, It's worth it. U really shouldn't get it from other sources b/c u will need the updates and the new materials which are being added really often. However, I think u also should use the achiever program, it's also a good way to practice and timing ur self.

im studying destroyer now, it is very easy to follow. its basically a book with a ****load of questions, and hard questions that is.. currently, im still in the first section which is orgo, with like 180 questions to study from all with detailed answered.

not only do you get the book when you pay for it but you also get Dr. Ramano along with it if you have any questions going through it. The fact that you have someone to ask from alone makes it worthwhile to buy this book. The book does a good job in explaining the right and wrong choices. So my advice is that you are better off buying it.

I dont thing getting an addational sourse for the dat will hurt especially the DAT Destroyer. The Destroyer has four sections that are mind blowingly exducaitonal. If you think you know it all, try the Destroyer, there is always something new that you probably missed while studying. In addation, the book teaches you not just about a particular question but a lot more you need to know about a certain topic.

Plus think about it, if you dont get the Destroyer, you will be wondering about what your missing out on!

Remember, you should get your hands on all the material that would boost you score! (exp: topscore, Achiever...etc.)

Half the time he's lecturing in class. So if you're freaking out the day before the exam, pray that he'll be available.

I'm going through the destroyer right now, not only is it informative the questions cover a wide range of topics. Most questions also engage the student in multiple concepts, so I learn more with every one I do. For example rather than just you for the amount of stereoisomers the destroyer would "force" you into drawing the molecule. The technique toughens you up!!🙂
