I am new to this forum and I was reading through the Forums and noticed that DAT Destroyer is recommended. I am planning on giving this as a gift to my son and was wondering if I should get the two books DAT Destroyer and Organic Chemistry Odyssey. Your help is greatly appreciated.

DAT Destroyer was really helpful as a question bank and testing my knowledge. Use other books as well for teaching purposes.

Is your son a prospective dental student studying for his DAT's. If yes then destroyer is perfect, I don't think he needs odyssey for he DAT, thats more of like a mini text book.

I highly recommend the Destroyer, its an amazing book and has plenty of problems to practice. I have the book, and the explanations are really good. The Odyssey I never personally used it, but I heard its a good book as well. If you plan on buying both of them, I would recommend you buy them together in the bundle. Best of luck!
Thank you for your responses. Yes, my son is currently an undergrad student and is planning on taking the DAT in September or October of this year.

Like others said Odyssey is not recommended.
